Dr. ANANDA RAO MALADKAR,
M.D., D.M.R.D (Radiology), is a retired
Professor of Radiology, J.J.M. Medical
College Davanagere, Karnataka State. Dr.
Ananda Rao’s parents are Sri Keroji Rao
Maladkar and Smt. Seshabai. After obtaining
degree in medicine he married Dr. Kamala, a
consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician,
who is the first female physician from
Bhavsar Samaj in Mysore State in 1951. She
is a solo practitioner and owner of
Kamalananda OB-GYN Nursing home in
Davanagere, Karnataka State.
Maladkars visited United States in 2007 to
spend time with their sons Dr. Sashi A. M.
Kumar, pediatrician and Dr. Madan Ananda Rao
Maladkar, an internist who are practicing in
Alabama. Currently Dr. Ananda Rao Maladkar
is settled in Hubli with his third son Mr.
M. Vijayakumar.
